The Beach!

We have been having such a beautiful summer! Every week we try to go to the beach somewhere close to home!! Bishop loves the water and the sand!! It is so fun to watch him explore new things.. I can't believe in a short couple of weeks he will be 1 year old! The birthday pics will be the next post..



Bishop's girlfriend Shadei, she is 18 months old. So cute they hug and kiss it is adorable!

Bishop got to go to his first Edmonton Eskimo game last thursday!! The cheerleaders wanted their picture with him to celebrate the event!! He loved every minute of it (all the girls and the football of course) we had lots of fun and we'll be going again tomorrow! Go ESKS Go!!

Bishop finally got a new car seat and he just loves it!! Probably hated being squeezed into his old one. What a relief a chair I fit into!!

Busy little boy!!

Bishop is officially taking steps! As well as getting into EVERYTHING! I can't imagine what he will be like when he is 2! Now I know why people have children when they are younger so that they have the energy to chase after them. It really is a blast everything he does is such an adventure for him (and me of course!) He loves to play with anything that isn't a toy, Yemi's T.V., stereo, speakers, cords and anything that is plugged in to the wall must come out! He loves the little door stoppers behind the doors and he loves doors, cupboards and drawers. Oh and I can't forget toilets and toilet paper. None of the toilet paper is actually on any of the rolls. I'm sure as he gets more mobile the more fun it will be. I just sure hope that he will soon be interested in toys!

My First Haircut!!

Bishop had his first haircut last Saturday, he sure didn't like it. I have never combed his hair before because it is so curly, so when I combed it out there was quite a few knots. Poor little guy was not happy with me and all the girls at the salonwere so shocked to see him cry like that kept telling me to stop and just leave it. He is such a lucky guy to have so many Aunties that love him so much! We all survived the ordeal including Bishop! And he looks adorable with his new look!

ITS SUMMER

Bishop experienced grass for the first time today, he hated it! Every time it touched his skin he cried and cried. Then we tried the swing...

... the swing he loved the swing!!! He giggled and had so much fun. We are definitely going to have to buy him one of those for our backyard!!

Bishop @ 8 months old

Bishop is 8 months old now and into EVERYTHING! Gone are the days of him just lying on the floor or the couch so I can actually get something done! He follows me everywhere I go even tries to go up the stairs! It really is the best age yet as we have so much fun together. He gives kisses and hugs, and actually understands what you say to him. Everything is so new and exciting and he does something new everyday. Yesterday it was the toilet paper and the toilet (there was water and toilet paper EVERYWHERE) What a mess... and I thought my house was kid proof!! Oh well it's fun. He is growing up so fast I wish he could stay little forever!

Bath time!!

Bishop no longer fits in any bath tub but the big one!! And each bath is such an adventure. He doesn't sit still for anything!! Even changing his diaper is turning out to be a big job.
